Florence Nightingale Museum July 6, 2010

Today I went to the Florence Nightingale Museum at St. Thomas hospital after my morning lecture. We met a guest lecturer Jacqueline at Surbiton station. When we arrived at Waterloo station we walked over to St. Thomas. The museum seemed rather small for the contribution she made to nursing. It was an audio tour using stethoscopes. Oh did they hurt my ears! I left with a horrible headache. It was a very short trip. We stopped as a class to talk next to the Thames about what we learned. She did a lot when it came to hygiene and sterilization. She seemed to be a very strong independent women for the time. After getting to my room, I took a nap. I went to dinner with Jordan and Leigh at Cornination Hall. I had a burger and ordered onion rings with it. When I added the onion rings. I assumed that they would replace the chips but instead I got both. Oh and I love the hard cider especially Strongbow here which comes with if you order a burger anywhere. It is even better if the black current concentrate in it.
